Accounting Associate Job Description:
We are looking for an Accounting Associate to join our financial team. Your duties will include compiling and reviewing financial information, preparing financial paperwork, assisting with payroll processing, and maintaining records. You will also be required to perform general administrative tasks. To be successful as an Accounting Associate, you should have a firm grasp of basic accounting principles and practices. A top-notch Accounting Associate should be well-organized, have an aptitude for numbers, and be able to maintain good relationships with our clients.
Accounting Associate Responsibilities:
- Perform services agreed upon by the Company with clients you are assigned to handle;
- Attend client meetings, seminars and trainings;
- Meet deadlines sets by your superior and submit monthly reports on time;
- File monthly BIR returns and SSS, Pag-ibig and Philhealth remittances and reports on time;
- Timely coordination with clients the requirements needed in preparing monthly reports and government filing;
- Perform research and queries regarding technical issues that may arise during the performance of our services to clients;
- Understand and perform efficiently the tasks assigned by the engagement Partner;
- Prepare appropriate reports and working papers and make them available for review by the engagement Partner on a timely manner;
- Inform the engagement Partner about issues or problems with clients assigned to you as they arise;
- Perform quality control procedures on the draft report and audited financial statements;
- Immediately communicate to the Managing Partner all client complaints and concerns;
- Properly document all communication to clients and copy furnish the Managing Partner; and
- Perform duties and responsibilities as assigned by your superior; and
- Always report for work on time.
Accounting Associate Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
- Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Working knowledge of relevant laws and regulations mandated by business regulators in the Philippines.
- Proficiency in MS Office word and excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills .
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Punctual.
